Reducing Our Collective Footprint on The Earth by 85%

The weekend was amazing! On Saturday evening, we heard Dr. Gabriel Cousens speak once again, this time in Georgetown thanks to the efforts of Susan Wilson. Gabriel reminded us that we could reduce our collective footprint on The Earth by 85% if everyone were to adopt a vegan lifestyle. And it seems like such an effortless means of saving the planet and humanity...
Susan, an RNCP, is well on the way to helping to make this happen in her area. She's now a certified Whole Organic Living Chef and ready to deliver meals to your doorstep (http://www.healthenut.ca/). .
Meanwhile, I've doing better on the homefront with regards to juicing. This summer, it was difficult for me to drink the wheatgrass and green juices made from dark greens such as collard leaves, kale, dandelion and the like that I lived on a year ago. Lately, I've had success by incorporating celery, cucumbers and an apple back into them. I feel so much better, being back on the program.
Yesterday, we attended the 2008 Whole Life Expo(http://www.wholelifecanada.com/) at The Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto. Gabriel spoke on 'Individualizing One's Diet' as outlined in his book Conscious Eating, and then on Curing Diabetes in 30 Days. We heard him speak on the latter subject three times in a four-day period and each time, we came away with pages of notes pertaining to new information based on extensive scientific research. I can't begin to tell you how much we learnt including the fact that everyone needs to take a B12 supplement regardless of whether or not they're vegan.
After the show, we had dinner with friends at Rawlicious. It felt like an impromtu 'bon voyage' party!
This morning, we left home. I'm writing this from what seems like our home away from home - the motel room in which we left our six month's worth of things in Pennsylvania. On Saturday, I registered with various raw meet-up groups in Florida and what seems ironic is that after braving a near white-out in the snow-belt on our way here this morning, I received multiple e-mail notices with regards to meet-ups in the coming weeks including one on a beach in Fort Lauderdale this Sunday with Paul Nison...ask and you receive. The adventure continues...
