It had to be one of the very nicest Thanksgivings we've ever experienced. Hundreds joined hands and enclosed a circle of hope surrounding one of the huge ponds on the 37 acres that make up this world famous health spa. We had been looking forward to spending the day with Tracy. She and her partner, Angus are owners of Rawlicious, our favourite raw food restaurant in Toronto.
Dinner was amazing. Dave said it was the best Thanksgiving meal he'd ever eaten in his entire life and I had to agree. We even had 'a smiling turkey'!It was a far cry from 'the sad turkey' I had made for Canadian Thanksgiving in October although there was a definate similarity in taste. Smile.
And best of all, this morning I read in Robin's November 29th 2008 entry at http://www.rawketscience.blogspot.com/ of Dr. Tullio Simoncini, an Italian oncologist's remarkable work in treating cancer as a fungus(http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/). Apparently they're working with this treatment at Hippocrates. On the homefront, we now resemble a sailboat having rigged the boat at a dock at The St Lucie Campground where we spent six sun-filled days. Yesterday, we returned to The Indiantown Marina where we'll have our refrigeration unit serviced this coming Friday.
Yesterday, Dave successfully installed our new Air 802 antenna and amplifier so that we can connect to wireless networks from a distance of three miles. We were up at 0400 hours watching CBC's The National in the comfort of the v-berth. We're living 'big' now! Smile.
