We found the palm trees...

Rusty and I searched for palm trees for 900 miles on Tuesday as we drove south in a rented van following Dave in a Toronto Drive-Away car through state after state of stormy weather. We arrived at Dave's brother and sister-in-law's in Jacksonville FL well after dark but sure enough, yesterday when we awoke, palm trees surrounded us. And as we drove south to Miami to deliver the Drive-Away car last evening, we found mangrove swamps...we're home!
This morning, we're headed to Hippocrates to pick up our six-month's worth of supplements. Then it's back to the boat to clean it well enough to be able to sleep on it this evening. We opened it yesterday for a few minutes to let the chemicals escape.
What have we been eating en route? E3-Live Brain-On and ReNew Me!, Spiralina from Kona Hawaii, freshly picked grapefruit(!), Ambrosia apples, celery, carrots, kale, almonds, raisins, hemp seed, spiralized zucchini with marinara sauce and dehydrated pears. Not too bad...now if I can be more concious of Being.

What have I been listening to? Eckhart Tolle's Practising the Power of Now. It's a fabulous book that I highly recommend as it gives very precise explanations with regard to practising concepts introduced and referred to in other books by Eckhart Tolle.
